Welcome to the Rosh Chodesh Society! The Rosh Chodesh Society is a group of ladies that meet monthly (in the fall-spring) to learn, laugh, relax, schmooze, and enjoy a fun evening out with each other. Each session takes place in the home of another another gracious hostess in our community. You can join a meeting just once, or you can come every month, or anything in between!
What: Most of the meetings consist of a Torah class, followed by a fun social event. The Torah class is actually a comprehensive multi-lesson course which we will complete by the end of the year. For more on this year's course, click here. We are excited to bring you exciting activities and will post them here as we plan them in the next couple of weeks!
When: The schedule varies, but we meet approximately once a month during the fall-spring, for a total of 8 sessions.
Where: Each meeting is at a different location, usually at the beautiful home of a wonderful member of the community!
Cost: We have the option of an all encompassing membership for $180 which gets you into each session as well as a textbook for the course. Even if you might miss a lesson or two, RCS membership is a great way to show your support and RCS pride!
If you prefer not to utilize the membership option, you can register for one meeting at a time. The cost varies, with the exact amount depending on the activity. If you go this route, you can also order the course textbook on Amazon.
Since our fees (even if they were all paid in full with no scholarships) really don't cover the cost of the programs, we also have an RCS Pillar Membership option for $360. If you love the RCS and want to support it, that's a great option for you!
